Gorgeous Senior Session in Naperville

Although my majority of my clients are only days old, I relish Senior sessions! I love connecting with them and showcasing their beauty and strengths as they are embarking into adulthood. 

This gorgeous senior lady wanted a dreamy backlit session and that is exactly what she got! I mean could the lighting have been any more amazing?! 


Here are a few tips to ensure a GREAT session: 

Lighting: These backlit and hazy images do require the sun to be present. We did have to reschedule as our first set appt was overcast and would have looked entirely different. Luckily, this gorgeous lady didnt mind waiting to ensure she got the images she had envisioned. 

Wardrobe: Pick pieces that reflect YOU. Bring multiple outfits, layers, hats to change it up and give your gallery some variety. Pick jewelry that you love and wear it. Avoid neon colors, trust me on this. 

Bring items that reflect your high school journey: Musical instruments if you're in band, sports equipment if you play, etc...

Bring your hype team: Sometimes it can be nerve-wracking having your photos done. Dont worry, I wont bite and I will always do my best to put you at ease and capture flattering images but sometimes just bringing a close friend or sibling that YOU KNOW WILL ONLY BE POSITIVE can really help with those nerves. This lovely senior was a natural in front of the camera but she also brought her big sister and mom who were ohhhhing and ahhhing on the sidelines with glee.
